CEDUNA
OYSTER FEST
What
proved to be a very busy weekend with
high sales -
and a oyster or two.
Ceduna
was our first general public exhibition and sale of the CD. We had a selection
of the prints on display, which proved to be very popular. There was a
continuos line of people coming into the tent to view Richards amasing
photographs. We also had a computer on display, which we used to show
people through the CD. We heard many great stories throughout the day
as some of the locals relived memories that were spurred on by the high
quality images. It was beautiful weather, so the numbers were high.
COWELL

opening of a new Visitor Information Center at Cowell.
On
the 29th of September the new information center was opened in Cowell.

WHYALLA
TOURISM CONFERENCE
Tourism
conference for people involved in tourism on the Eyre Peninsula.
Whyalla
was the first time we had a public display of the CD and images. It created
a lot of interest over the three days with the conference delegates. We
were extremely happy with the results from the three days. Receiving support
and comments from people in the industry in very important and beneficial
to help with the updating on the next edition.
